The Dr. Demento Show (live on KMET) - January 1, 1978 (6p-10:15p)

Special Topic: Top 50 for 1977
Note: This show was only broadcast in Los Angeles (KMET), as this was during a one-year hiatus that Dr. Demento took from syndication (February, 1977 - February, 1978), before being picked up by Westwood One. At this point, the show was four hours instead of two hours, thus a top 50 instead of a top 25.

NOTE: "Pet Shop" by Monty Python and "Tse-Tse Fly" by Sulu were tied for #50 based on the point system, but they were not aired.
